Join Team Underwood at the Own Your Neighborhood Training to ensure you have the tools and skills necessary to have effective conversations with your neighbors.
We will review the new door-knocking script, discuss strategies, and collaborate on best practices. Having meaningful conversations with our neighbors is how Lauren will win re-election and help Democrats up and down the ballot in the IL-14th.

The countdown to Election Day 2022 has started and it’s time to get serious about our ramping up our Democratic campaigns. That’s why the Democratic Party of Illinois is holding its first training session for Democratic volunteers and activists.
RSVP |
Votebuilder is the software that many Democratic campaigns use to track their grassroots outreach. By attending the training session, you’ll have the skills needed to hit the streets as soon as campaign season kicks into high gear.
It doesn’t matter if you’re a first-time door knocker or a seasoned phone banker, we could all use a refresher on the latest campaign technology. Attendees can participate in person in the Joliet area (exact address given upon RSVP) or online via Zoom.
Click here to RSVP for the Votebuilder Academy on December 19!
From the American Rescue Plan in Congress to the minimum wage increase passed by state legislators to the important advancements by local officials, Democrats have delivered across Illinois. Now it’s time to make sure we deliver at the ballot box next November!
You’re invited to a volunteer appreciation and training with Maura Hirschauer and Karina Villa! This event has been moved to a virtual setting so bring your mochas to enjoy with Maura or coffee with Karina! Either way, we’d love to see you and get everyone trained up for this year’s campaign season.
Re-connect with Team Maura and Team Villa on Saturday January 8, 2022 for some treats and petition training! Don’t miss it!
We are having a pop up drive through petition signing event with State Senator Karina Villa and State Representative Maura Hirschauer on Thursday Jan. 13th in the parking lot of The Slice Spot from 4p – 7p, 960 Roosevelt Rd in West Chicago. People can drive by and sign the petition from their car, take a sheet to get signatures if they want and can stop in and get some pizza for dinner if they wish.
Join Senator Castro for Petition Days of Action! We need your help to circulate petitions to ensure Senator Castro is back on the ballot.

A new election season starts in January so we need to help out our Democratic Candidates who are stepping up to run in 2022.
A petition drive-thru is a safe way for us to help them get the signatures they need during the pandemic.
Wear your mask, bring a pen (blue or black ink) and sanitizer. Invite any willing family members and friends to join you. Park in front of 210 Wing Park Blvd, and stay in your car. A circulator will bring a clipboard with all the petitions attached. Sign all the petitions. Spritz a little sanitizer on your hands, and have a pleasant rest of the day knowing you helped a Democratic candidate.
