Dear Friends,
We need more boots on the ground and voices on the phone for the next phase of my campaign for Kane County Board District 4. It still takes a village!
Canvassing: Saturday and Sunday, 11:00 am to 6:00 pm
I will be walking from 11:00 to 6:00 on Saturday and Sunday. If you can come out for a couple of hours that would be great. There are so many doors and so little time. I have been knocking since June, and there’s still plenty more to go. If you can’t make it this Saturday and Sunday but could go on a different day please let me know. I’m out almost everyday. It really goes faster with more people knocking.
Phone Banking: Every Day
My phone bank is now set up and you can do it from home or anywhere. Here’s the link to get you started on phone banking. If you have any trouble or need a little training to get started please let me know. The best hours to call are from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Usually there’s a hard stop at 8:00.
Friends and Family Postcards:
We are also getting our friends and family postcards printed and if you could take a bunch and send them to people you know in the district that would be great. I can send you the list of our target voters by email to help you find people you know.
Thank you, everybody, for your support. Our values are on the line in Kane County. If we value taking care of our families and kids, supporting mental health, good jobs, and especially protecting the environment, then we have to do the work to make sure we elect the right people.
To volunteer, please give me a call or text me anytime. 630-605-9244.
With deepest gratitude,
Mavis

We are in the final stretch of this critical campaign, and we need all hands on deck to ensure victory for Maria Peterson in her tight race against Marty. As we approach Election Day, we’re inviting all of our local supporters to join us for Maria’s last fundraising event before we head to the polls.
On October 21, from 6:30 to 8:30 PM, we’ll gather at Strawberry Moon (204 S Main St, Wauconda, IL) for a night of live music from Jeff Trudell, fun, and the opportunity to rally together as a community ahead of early voting.
