Join Team Underwood at the Own Your Neighborhood Training to ensure you have the tools and skills necessary to have effective conversations with your neighbors.
We will review the new door-knocking script, discuss strategies, and collaborate on best practices. Having meaningful conversations with our neighbors is how Lauren will win re-election and help Democrats up and down the ballot in the IL-14th.

Votebuilder is the software that many Democratic campaigns use to track their grassroots outreach. By attending the training session, you’ll have the skills needed to hit the streets as soon as campaign season kicks into high gear.
It doesn’t matter if you’re a first-time door knocker or a seasoned phone banker, we could all use a refresher on the latest campaign technology. Attendees can participate in person in the Joliet area (exact address given upon RSVP) or online via Zoom.
Click here to RSVP for the Votebuilder Academy on December 19!
From the American Rescue Plan in Congress to the minimum wage increase passed by state legislators to the important advancements by local officials, Democrats have delivered across Illinois. Now it’s time to make sure we deliver at the ballot box next November!
You’re invited to a volunteer appreciation and training with Maura Hirschauer and Karina Villa! This event has been moved to a virtual setting so bring your mochas to enjoy with Maura or coffee with Karina! Either way, we’d love to see you and get everyone trained up for this year’s campaign season.
Re-connect with Team Maura and Team Villa on Saturday January 8, 2022 for some treats and petition training! Don’t miss it!

Join the Elgin Township Democrats in this year’s Fourth of July Parade.
The parade kicks off at 9am, but try to arrive around 8am so we can coordinate any tasks placement, handing out of candy, etc.
We do not yet know our placement in the parade, so check with the entry point volunteers to get a general idea of where we will be. We will have Jack the Donkey, so we should be easy to find in the line-up.
We are looking for volunteers to help with building this year’s float. If interested contact Carl Strathmann at 630.890.3460.
The Strathmann’s are planning a party after the parade at their place.
