Inflation hits the poor the hardest and makes their life very difficult. This means that they rely on the Food Banks even more. The BEST WAY to donate is to make a check out to CCC (Community Crisis Center) – OR – FFGA (Food for Greater Elgin) – OR – pick up a few extra items while you are at the store. Either way – early donations can be dropped off at my home – 2814 Beacon Point Cir.

2nd – Pop top/easy open foods are best for homeless individuals

- TUNA – CAN OR POUCH; WHITE RICE 1# BAG/BOX
- Canned fruit; Cereal/oatmeal (small packets)
- Peanut butter; Jelly; Macaroni & cheese – boxed
- Pinto beans, dry 1# bags
- Saltine crackers; Soup/Ramen noodles
- Spaghetti/marinara sauce; Spaghettio-types

This will be one of many community canvassing events where we go out and introduce ourselves to the Elgin Community! We will trying to get people to become Precinct Committeemen. This will be a new way to get people to our group. See you then!
