Will you still need me, will you still feed me, when I’m 64?
Please help us celebrate Paul’s 64th Birthday!
(No, not Sir Paul, our Paul!)
July 17th at 6:30 p.m.
For a donation of $64 we will deliver to your home a 16” pizza with your choice of toppings and you can join us in a
Virtual Birthday Party for Paul Stoddard
Zoom link will be provided prior to 7/17/20
Join us on Saturday, July 25 from 6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. for a virtual dance lesson and party! We will be learning all the moves from a few volunteers from Simply Destinee*, a youth inspired Dance Team that promotes suicide awareness in Memory of Destinee A. Oliva. They are a great organization that provides a space for kids to express their emotion in a safe environment.
You won’t want to miss out on some special dance guests (announced soon!), as well as some “Wait Wait… Don’t Tell Me” trivia questions between dance
segments!
Tickets are $25, and sponsorship opportunities are available. Please see the flyer below for more details.
Join us for our monthly meetings on the fourth Tuesday of each month. We discuss township politics, election events, candidates, as well as committee initiatives. These meetings are open to the public.
Hybrid meetings starting in February 2023. 40 people allowed in person. Zoom for attendees beyond that. Details coming soon.
Hosted by John Kaiser, Leslie Adame and Aynur Namik
On August 9th, 2014, Michael Brown was fatally shot 6 times by Officer Darren Wilson. Michael was only 18 years old when he took his last breath. Six bullets took Michael’s life. Six too many! Michael’s life was cut short over alleged stolen product, in a conflict that lasted around 90 seconds.
Sadly, the story of Michael Brown is not a new one, nor is it rare. The list for names of Black Lives that have been lost at the hands of officers is too long. However, the officers are not the only problems facing our country. The systemically racist institutions that protect those violent officers are another part of the unequal, and unjust, America we live in.
So now, we must demand a change and say “Enough is Enough.” Let us come together and show our support for Black Lives and for social reforms.
We will be gathering at Huffman Park, then proceed to a peaceful and socially-distanced march, and end up back at Huffman Park for a peaceful rally.
Due to the current status of the COVID-19 pandemic, we ask that you please wear a mask or face-covering and social distance to the best of your ability.
