The countdown to Election Day 2022 has started and it’s time to get serious about our ramping up our Democratic campaigns. That’s why the Democratic Party of Illinois is holding its first training session for Democratic volunteers and activists.

Votebuilder is the software that many Democratic campaigns use to track their grassroots outreach. By attending the training session, you’ll have the skills needed to hit the streets as soon as campaign season kicks into high gear.
It doesn’t matter if you’re a first-time door knocker or a seasoned phone banker, we could all use a refresher on the latest campaign technology. Attendees can participate in person in the Joliet area (exact address given upon RSVP) or online via Zoom.

The Kane County Democratic Women’s 5th Annual Election of Officers will happen onSaturday, February 26, 2022. It will take place at the Hickory Knolls Nature Center from 1:00-3:00pm. IL State Senators Karina Villa, Cristina Castro and IL State Rep. Maura Hirschauer are the invited speakers.
We will honor Congresswoman Underwood and Congresswoman Schakowsky with the 2022 Alliance for Retired Americans Retiree Hero Award for their flawless voting records on issues impacting seniors and workers, and will hear from them the challenges and opportunities for our priorities in Congress.
Join Rep. Anna Moeller in the Elgin Room at the Main Branch of the Gail Borden Library to hear about the latest session in Springfield.
We will be joined by Officer Edwin Alva of the Elgin Police Department for an update on public safety in our communities.

The Kane County Democrats will be doing our annual Adopt a Highway cleanup on May 20th at 5:00pm. Pizza and light snacks will be provided beforehand.
Please meet at Steve’s house, 1707 Patricia Lane St Charles, and after pizza, we will clean the west side of Kirk Rd between Division and Main St in St Charles. We will have garbage bags and gloves. Dress appropriately for the weather. It is NOT rain or shine, but baring that we will be good to go.
