Following the onset of the pandemic, awareness to do more to address America’s mental health crisis, particularly in teens and young people, has risen, but there is still more to be done at all levels, particularly as we confront the related substance abuse challenges facing our nation. Forum Protocols:
1. This is a FORUM. The definition of a forum is to ask all candidates the same question and hear their response in 2 minutes or less per candidate.
2. The questions were curated with input from citizens via email over the last ten days. We have made every attempt to ask pointed, thought-provoking, and unbiased questions that will cover a multitude of issues.
3. We will round-robin all questions between candidates so each candidate can go first.
4. Interrupting the candidates will not be tolerated, and you will be asked to leave. It’s important to allow them to get their message out.
5. The organizers will be recording the meeting and will publish it.
6. We want to bring similar events to the voting public in the future. We appreciate your cooperation in making this a courteous, informative, and dignified event.
